“Overseas Study Program: Learning from Thailand”
Historically, Thailand is well-known as a country who hold a unique position in Southeast Asia. A major economy in South East Asia with a strong international outlook, Thailand is booming business-wise, attracting interests from around the globe. Despite their image as international leader on economic, Thailand is famous with their effort to maintain their tradition. What kind of effort that they have been done? Through this program, you can directly observe and discuss with local people of Thailand. Let’s Explore Thailand!
18 – 20 April 2019
The First E Program offers the students such as educational and cultural exchange activities between with local students for enriching their insight.
The Second E Program provides world class university exposure in order to help the students experience the atmosphere of being international university students.
Through all the agendas, The Third E program will enable students to have a cross-cultural experience, including traditional and modern culture Thailand has.
As for the Fourth E program, students will do observation by visiting several public places to find and understand the social activity and condition in Thailand.
6 Priority Programs
Day 1 : A Warm Welcoming
- Don Mueang International Airport
Your first step in the ground of Don Mueang International Airport area is the realization that your journey with OSPRO begins. In this airport you will meet your friends and the committee who will accompany you exploring Thailand.
- Rod Fai Night Market
You will have an exploration in one out of ten coolest night market in Bangkok in Rod Fai Srinakarin. There you can observe and try to interact with Siamese people to get to know their characters.
Day 2 : Campus Exchange
- Chulalongkorn University
Your journey in the second day is the main part of the program. First thing in the morning, you will visit Chulalongkorn University. Chulalongkorn University, one of the recognized universities in the world and also best university in Thailand. Other than walking in and around campus, you will have a discussion with the students about art and culture.
- Silpakorn University
Still as the main part of the program, you will continue to the second campus, Silpakorn University. Here you will interact with the students and share ideas about tourism management. Don’t miss the opportunity to exchange information and ideas with Silkpakorn University students so you can share
- Bangkok Art & Culture Centre
To brighten up your wonder about how art and culture in Thailand becomes a well-known attraction in the world, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre will tell you about all that. You will see the development of art and how Thai people praise their culture in this place.
Day 3: The Enchanting Bangkok
- The Grand Palace
In the third day, you will have an adventure in Bangkok. Off course you will be invited to visit Wat Pho for having a close view about culture in Thailand. You will have deeper idea about the culture in Thailand in this great place.
- Wat Phra Kaew
The next destination to learn about culture and tourism would be Wat Phra Kaew, which is the popular emerald temple of Buddha. In this place you will get more knowledge about another kind of temple in southeast Asia.
- Don Mueang International Airport
Finally, your journey ends in this very last day. From the area of royal palace you will head straight to Don Mueang International Airport. Hopefully, your journey will remain as a good remembrance in mind and give such huge inspiration for your next step towards the future.
To be considered for Academy, students must be highly motivated with a love of learning. Generally, Academy students exhibit the ability to quickly explore topics in great depth and often require services behond those provided by the regular school system. Students often demonstrate at least one of the following:
Either Senior High and University student between 16-25 years old (fresh graduates are welcomed)
Good communication skills
Good Interpersonal Skill
Willing to learn new things
